Nicola’s practice focus is on South African and African competition law and regulation. She advises major South African and international clients on competition law, and her experience extends to numerous sectors, with a specific focus on the consumer goods, hospitality, construction and energy sectors. Nicola’s principal area of practice is competition law, in particular cartel investigations, abuse of dominance matters and merger control. She regularly advises clients on specific commercial strategies and projects, supply chain considerations and e-commerce projects from a competition law perspective. She also has a keen personal interest in privacy law and data protection.
Nicola has contributed to various international publications in relation to competition law developments in South Africa, COMESA and other African jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Nortons Inc., Nicola was a case manager at the South African Competition Tribunal for two years.
